Marginalisation of Dalit Muslims in Indian Democracy - Publications

Dalit Muslims are a separate class within the Muslim community.

In eight articles the authors explore the origins and reasons behind the concept of Dalit Muslims and try to develop approaches for improving their situation. The main statement is that the question on Dalit Muslims is inextricably linked to the ongoing democratisation process, within the Muslim community as well as in the larger Indian context.
