Anannya Bhattacharjee, based in India, has been a full time social activist for over thirty years in the labour movement and the women’s movement. She works nationally, regionally (Asia), and globally. Ms. Bhattacharjee lived for many years in the United States where she was an activist among immigrant and people of colour movements.She has helped build grassroots labour- related collaboration between North America, Europe and Asia for well over a decade. She has co-edited a book, written analytical essays in a variety of publications and has spoken widely on social justice issues and movements.
