Brindaalakshmi. K is an intersectional queer-feminist researcher, writer and advocacy professional. As a researcher, they work at the intersection of human rights, identities and technology. Brindaa’s advocacy efforts are informed by their experience as a queer rights activist and peer supporter working with the LGBTIQA+ community. They also lead workshops on consent, intersectionality and digital security. They are presently studying the data issues due to the implementational challenges of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2019 or Trans Act for the Centre for Internet & Society, India as part of Our Voice Our Future project supported by Association for Progressive Communications (APC).
