Dev Nathan an economist, is Visiting Professor, the Institute for Human Development, India; Visiting Research Fellow, Duke University GVC Center, USA; and Head, Research, GenDev Centre for Research and Innovation, India. He has published widely on global value chains, for which he is also Co-editor of the Cambridge University Press series. His other research interests include labour economics, indigenous people and gender relations, He is currently working (with Govind Kelkar) on a book on Witch Hunts in India ... and Elsewhere to be published by Cambridge University Press. His recently co-edited books are Labour in Global Value Change in Asia (2016) and Development with Global Value Change in Asia: Innovation and Upgrading (2018).
