Dr. Cliff Mboya is an International Relations Scholar with a focus on Africa-China relations.  His research interests encompass Africa-China relations, Geopolitics, Global Governance, Development Communication, and Public Diplomacy. He is currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Africa-China Studies (CACS) at the University of Johannesburg. He has served as the Africa Editor and Consultant for the China-Africa Project and held the position of Public Affairs Officer at the Chinese Embassy in Nairobi. He also completed an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kenya. He earned his PhD in International Politics from Fudan University.
