Dr Narayan Sharma has been teaching ecology, wildlife and conservation biology at the Department of Environmental Biology and Wildlife Sciences, Cotton University, since 2015. He is one of the founder faculties of the department. His research interests lie in the field of community ecology, conservation biology, primatology, human ecology, ecological history and history and development of ecological sciences. Dr Sharma is also interested in popularising ecological science and has written several popular articles on natural history and conservation biology.
