Geetanjali (she/they) is a freelance research consultant, independent filmmaker and a part-time student of Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary Practices at Westfälische Wilhelms Universität-Münster. Her research interests include environment and indigenous rights, poetry, queer politics and visual anthropology. Geetanjali has an academic and professional background in journalism. Her writings have been published in Indian as well as international publications such as Firstpost, NewsLaundry, Indian Express, Hindustan Times, Ritimo Network, Mongabay etc. Her recent documentary films deal with the fragility of urban human settlements and housing and rehabilitation policies.
