Haili Cao worked in journalism in China for about 20 years, whose career included Caijing magazine and Caixin Media as a founding member, managing editor of the New York Times Chinese site. Her coverage ranged from business to public health to investigative reporting to international relations. She is a Nieman fellow from 2008-2009.
