Jochen Luckscheiter is the Director of the hbs Regional Office New Delhi since January 2024. He previously headed the foundation’s country office in Abuja, Nigeria. He also worked as a Programme Manager in the hbs Regional Office Cape Town with a focus on international relations and resource politics, and oversaw the hbs publication series Perspectives – Africa.   

He holds a Diplom in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin as well as a Master of Commerce in Development Finance from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
