Manju Menon is a senior fellow at Centre for Policy Research. Her research interests are resource politics, environmental regulation and participatory governance. Her main areas of study are the regulation of energy, transport and urban infrastructure projects. She collaborates with local community organisations on research projects and advocacy campaigns for environmental governance reforms. She has authored several popular articles and papers on these topics.

Manju is a member of Kalpavriksh and advisor to the environment justice program of Namati, an international organization dedicated to legal empowerment. She has led Namati’s India, Myanmar and Indonesia programs.
