Shubha Chacko is an activist who works for Solidarity Foundation, an NGO based in Bengaluru, India, which fights for the human rights of sexual minorities and sex workers. She is closely involved in grassroots level policy and research work in India, particularly focusing on issues relating to women, gender and sexuality. Shubha has done her post graduation in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. She has also worked at the National Law School of India University. She is a trained documentation professional and has presented papers at various international and national conferences. In addition, she has authored and assisted in the authoring of books on issues related to women.
