Perspectives Asia #5: Politics of food

Food is a highly political issue. Nowhere is this more true than in Asia. This publication seeks to illustrate some conflicting issues in the field of food and nutrition. The contributions highlight a selection of fields, where political action is needed to ensure that there is enough food on people's plate, which is also healthy and nutritious.

Indo-Pak Track II dialogue on building climate resilience: Energy-Water resilience and disaster risk reduction

Both India and Pakistan are extremely vulnerable to climate change owing to their geographic location, large populations and low adaptive capacities. As a result of their vulnerability, they are already experiencing the negative impacts of climate change. With this in mind, a Track II dialogue was organized to discuss what measures exist and could be taken by the two countries, both individually and collectively, to build resilience.

After decades of silence: Voices from Mizoram
