Unquite World
Unquiet Worlds is a collection of articles presented at a workshop of the Heinrich Böll Foundation at Berlin in September 2003. It speaks out against the silence imposed historically, socio-economically and politically on the Dalits. It brings to the fore their voices and visions, issues and struggles, and shares their achievements. Through a series of articles, it attempts to address questions of Dalit exclusion, their identity, their ambiguous and contradictory relationship with globalisation and Hindu communalism and the assertion of their rights and dignity.
