In partnership with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, Regional Office New Delhi, the Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST), New Delhi organised 36 Gender and Economic Policy Discussion Forums between 2012 and 2021.

Over the years, the policy briefs have become an important source of knowledge. The purpose of these policy briefs is to preserve the main discussion and reflections, provide a contemporary context for the topic and offer recommendations for gender-responsive public policy and discourse.

We realize the continued relevance of the forum discussions even as the years go by. In collaboration with Rajib Nandi, a select set of policy briefs from the GEPDF are re-published presenting key developments, debates and emerging questions in the context of present - day policy landscape.
